Short classification of the electric distribution boards we produce according to their intended purpose:
Distribution boards and domestic fuse boxes
They are used for the distribution of electricity in enterprises, in public or residential buildings, etc. They can be standalone, for wall mounting or for wall embedding. Power-distribution switchboards are mainly made of solid metal frame and powder coated sheet metal or rigid metal box, mainly used in industrial sites or as main switchboards (MSB) in buildings. In most cases, the apparatus in them is placed on a metal plate. Modular distribution boards are mostly used as the last unit in the distribution of energy to final household consumers (lighting, plugs, etc.). They can be made of both powder-painted sheet metal and plastic. Of course, in some cases they can also take on the role of main switchboards.
Automation Switchboards and Motor Control Centers (MCC)
They are used in the construction of industrial and building automation. They monitor the parameters and control the actuators of individual machines or complete technological processes. They include devices containing logical information (freely programmable or specialized controllers), their input-output expansion peripherals, visualization panels, start-up protection and protective equipment.
Control panels for measuring and control equipment
Transmitters, converters and displays for measuring and control equipment (MCE) are usually deployed in this class of panels, through which transfer of information or signal from physical sensors to automation controllers is carried out. They are installed near the reading point of the respective sensor and enable the service personnel to directly track the values of the measured parameters.
Complete capacitor systems (CCS)
When inductive loads (engines, throttles, transformers, etc.) are present, the so-called reactive energy is inevitably generated. This is the “harmful” part of the full power, which is not used in efficient operation of the machines, heats the power cables further (the result that significantly reduces their service life) and loads the electrical grids. By using capacitor systems, reactive energy can be compensated so that most of it fluctuates between the consumer and capacitors, not between the power source and the consumer. Complete capacitors are an extremely profitable solution for increasing energy efficiency and reducing the cost of electricity consumption.
Local control panels (LCP) and outdoor control panels
In most cases, LCP are metal or plastic boxes of small size, on the façade of which a selector, start and stop buttons and local manual electric power disconnectors (circuit-breakers) are installed. This type of panels are located near their adjacent facility and serve to force the start or stop of the same at the local level. These panels are of particular importance in commissioning, diagnostic and repair activities. Combined outdoor control panels are used in situations where the start (or stop) of a machine or group of machinery must be carried out from a location remote from the panel with the start-up protection equipment (e.g. on-call room or operating room).
